1. Reasons for the decrease in measurement accuracy or inaccuracy of the machine tool probe after use:

  • Caused by machining parts of CNC machine tools.


2. The main reasons for the inaccurate measurement of the machine tool probe caused by the machine tool probe are:


  • There are debris on the stylus of the machine tool probe;

  •  The machine tool probe is loosely installed or the stylus is loose;

  • The machine tool probe calibration is out of date or the calibration speed is different from the measurement speed;

  • The processed parts of CNC machine tools have certain magnetic or optical interference.


Ⅱ. How can we solve the decreased measurement accuracy of machine tool probe?

Recalibrate the machine tool probe every time the tool is changed; at the same time, ensure the stability of the CNC machine tool, so that it cannot vibrate or move during processing, production or measurement; determine and solve the corresponding CNC machine tool failure to ensure the CNC machine tool failure will not affect the measurement results of the machine tool probe.


When the inaccurate measurement of the machine tool probe is caused by the CNC machine tool itself, the operator needs to ensure that the surface of the CNC machine tool is clean and remove the debris on the surface of the machine at all times. And try to ensure that the machine tool probe is measured when the surface temperature of the workpiece drops to the lowest, so as to avoid the workpiece movement due to temperature difference changes during the measurement process and affect the measurement results.
